On a background of nursing, I trainined into the field of counselling in 2000. Several years later, I became registered with ACC, to provide therapy for individuals engagee in sensitive claims counselling. During the past 25 years, I have developed various specialties that include working with trauma, eating disorders and child and adolescent support. I have completed training in Interactive Drawing Therapy, Equine Assisted Therapy, ACT therapy, EMDR and Maudsley Family Therapy. I am able to provide eating disorder therapy, as part of an individual's team approach. I have worked in Child, Adolescent and Family mental health services as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and have extensive experience with working with rangatahi/young people and their whānau/family  If you would like to discuss my methods, or would like to schedule a consultation, please make contact.
